Movember has come and gone. The gala was a blast. Over $500 was raised by my team, and the Mo has since left this world.
I want to take this post to thank everyone who supported me through this adventure. My friends and family were key players in this drive, and by all accounts it was a successful one.
I haven’t forgotten about the pictures I promised. I’m still busy collecting and consolidating them from quite a few cameras. You’ll be sure to know when they’re done.
In a wrap, it’s been a great month. Thanks all!

Well, Movember is almost over and the results have been fantastic.
Team ‘Mo Control’ (pictured above) managed to raise over $500 to fight prostate cancer. Not bad for simply not shaving for a month. I want to extend a huge thanks to everyone who donated, supported us, or at the least didn’t judge us. It’s been a great trip, and we’re thankful that you’ve been able to join us for the ride.

I seem to have made it past the class 6 dirty-dirty period in my Mo growing endeavors. The mo has now been downgraded to just plain dirty, just one grade above creepy.

A dirty snarl with a dirty ‘stache. My moustache continues to grow for Movember.

Ole! Looks like I’ll be growing El Bigote Mexicana!!
The whiskers are short, but the journey is long! Stay tuned for updates. Same moustache time, same moustache channel!

Things are looking better! At least I have stubble now.

I look absolutely ridiculous without a moustache!!!
What the hell is a Movember?!?
Movember, the month formerly known as November, will be upon us shortly. Movember is a global movement that is bringing much needed attention to cancers that affect men. I’m supporting this by growing a Moustache this Movember. My commitment is to start clean-shaven Nov. 1 and grow a moustache all November. I’m doing this to change the face of men’s health and I want you to join me.
Sounds interesting, but why all the fuss?
The funds we raise during our Moustache journey go to the Prostate Cancer Foundation and the Lance Armstrong Foundation (LIVESTRONG). What many people don’t know is that 1 in 6 men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetime and that testicular cancer is the most common cancer in men aged 18-35. Facts like these have convinced me I should get involved.
You can learn more about Movember by watching the Intro Video at: http://us.movember.com.
This sound great!!! How can I help?
I’ve started a moustache team for Movember called “Mo Control.” If you’re interested in growing a moustache for a great cause, I’d encourage you to join “Mo Control” at http://us.movember.com/register/39821.
If you don’t want to (or can’t!) grow a Mo, please consider making a donation via http://us.movember.com/mospace/183047.
BUT WAIT!!! THERE’S MORE!!! On Movember 9th, I’ll be hosting a poll to let you fine people decide what style of Mo I’ll be growing. Every $5 donated gets you a vote!!
CALL NOW AND I’LL EVEN THROW IN THIS SPECIAL BONUS! For every $10 you donate, you’ll get your own, one-of-a-kind digital from a moustache photo shoot I’ll be doing at the end of Movember. Trust me, I’ll make it worth your dinero.
Thanks,
Moustache Mike
